What if my building doesn’t have any anchor points?
Modern Window Cleaning is home to West Michigan’s first robotic window cleaning machine, “Sheila,” which doesn’t rely on the number of anchors a crew of manual workers requires. You can learn more about the Sheila here. Additionally, Modern Window Cleaning can utilize a swing stage that doesn’t rely on roof anchor points but requires specific structural designs of the building being cleaned.
High rise window cleaning is dangerous. Are you licensed and insured?
All of our high rise cleaning professionals are professionally trained, certified, insured, and fully bonded. Additionally, we’ve taken much of the danger out of high rise window cleaning with our latest staff addition, Sheila, a high rise window cleaning machine that allows operators to remain on the roof while she scales the sides of your building with precision and efficiency.
What locations do you serve?
We primarily serve West Michigan including Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Holland, Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, and Lansing, but we will travel throughout Michigan for commercial and industrial high rise window cleaning jobs.
Can windows be cleaned during the winter?
Yes! Window cleaning is essential during the winter, especially in the harsh conditions we face during the winter months in Michigan. Road salt turns into airborne powder as vehicles pass over it, which in turn causes the road salt powder to settle onto your windows. The accumulation of this road salt powder can have long-term adverse effects on the longevity of your windows. Modern Window Cleaning follows proper safety guidelines to ensure that your winter window washing needs will be completed safely and satisfactorily.
I have special/unique windows. How can Modern Window Cleaning ensure that my windows will not be damaged?
At Modern Window Cleaning, we are experts in today’s state-of-the-art windows and yesterday’s historic windows. We guarantee that your windows will not only be in safe hands but will be left better than when we arrived. If there are any concerns, our certified technicians will point them out to you, and let you know what your options are to address them. From the use of our deionized water cleaning system to the use of green window cleaning products, we will ensure that your windows are safely and properly cleaned.
Can you remove hard water stains?
We use a cleaning solution that removes not only hard water stains but also salt residue, dust, and pollen; the cleaning solution does not leave streaks or soapy residue on the windows.
How frequently should I have my high rise windows cleaned?
While many consider high rise window cleaning to be for looks, it’s regarded as preventative maintenance to keep windows from deteriorating, saving you money in the long run. For this reason, high rise window cleaning services should be performed twice a year; more frequently on new construction and buildings exposed to salt. We recommend having your high rise windows cleaned once in spring, and again before winter.
How much does high rise window cleaning cost?
The time and human resources it takes to clean your windows depending on the size of your building, the number of windows, and other factors. For specific pricing information, please request a quote, and we will let you know the cost of high rise window cleaning for your building.
